Today was emotionally draining. Crying, worrying and most of all heartbreaking. Why you asked? Well, let me ask you in a form of a question. If you were driving, and you hit something, would you stop to check it out? If you answered yes, then you are a good person. The reason why I asked was, this morning alittle before 9 a.m., someone SLAMMED into my dog! An then sped away. If it wasn't for my neighbor finding him, my dog would have probably died. My poor dog has bad cuts and scraps to a frature shoulder!
To top it all off he is 15 years old. In dog years that is over 80 years old. He is blind and half deaf, but he is still my boy. My little buddy and I will be damned if he goes out in a such a bad way. He is going to die, we want him to die in his sleep peacefully and in no pain. With digity and pride. Now we are just going to have to see how things go. The vet said, the next 72 hours are going to be the hardest. If he makes it through that, then he is going to be fine. We just have to make sure he drink, eats and takes his meds. The rest is all nature.
I'll update tomorrow. I am off tomorrow too. Just right now, I am tired and exhausted from todays events. Once I get some rests and clear my mind a bit, I'll give you a full update on things. Until then.. send good vibes to my doggy sam!
